Background story

ID06 was introduced by the Swedish Construction Federation in 2006 to foster fair competition and ensure safe workplaces within the construction sector. The system aims to facilitate easy identification of individuals at worksites while linking each person to their respective employer. ID06 oversees attendance registration, training certifications, company monitoring, as well as entry and locking functionalities, all conducted digitally. This necessitates stringent security measures for information exchange and underscores the importance of product reliability and usability.

Crafting the app

ID06 is presently crafting a new platform. As a component of this initiative, Annevo was commissioned to construct a mobile application. This app enables users to validate their identity by scanning their identification documents themselves.

The application leverages technology from 365ID, a previous Annevo-driven project. This advanced technology facilitates scanning diverse identification documents such as passports or national ID cards.

The team immediately started digging into bringing together various integrations and systems into one place to provide a better and easier experience for the user during the ID registration process. To ensure a secure solution from scanning to documented enrollment, our development team utilizes expertise in Swift for iOS development, Kotlin for Android development, network protocols, SDK integrations, and GraphQL.
